Hell-O! is the debut album by GWAR, released in 1988.
Overview[]
A mish-mash of noise rock, comedy punk, and even KISS-esque rock, Hell-O! is perhaps the band's strangest album due to the fact that the band was still finding their sound.
Concept/Story[]
There really isn't much of a story on the album; instead, it seems every track intends to shock and awe with its vulgar, low-brow content.
Lineup[]
- Dave Brockie (Oderus Urungus) - Lead vocals
- Dewey Rowell (Flattus Maximus) - Lead and Rhythm guitar, backing vocals
- Steve Douglas (Balsac the Jaws of Death) - Lead and Rhythm guitar, backing vocals
- Michael Bishop (Beefcake the Mighty) - Bass, backing vocals
- Rob Mosby (Nippleus Erecticus) - Drums
- Don Drakulich (Techno Destructo) - Lead vocals on "Techno's Song"
